This is what Frankie insists the Happy Father's Day balloon says that we Chris at the grocery store yesterday. So we wished him Happy Monday all day.
And what a great father he is! He is patient, fun, and helpful. He provides well for our family, and leads us in our Christian walk. Frankie and Dexter adore their Daddy.
We had a fun Father's Day, despite the rain. We went to Boston Bowl, a Candle pin (and regular) bowling alley not far from our house. It was great! They had a nice restaurant in the alley, so we ordered lunch and ate while taking turns bowling. Frankie used a ramp to roll the candle pin ball down the lane and we had the bumpers up, so pins were knocked down almost every turn. The highlight of the trip was probably the arcade room, where Frankie and Dex rode on the little quarter carnival rides (much like the Flintstones car from my previous post).
I did not bring my camera to the bowling alley, so don't have an photos from the trip, but here are some of Frankie and her Daddy, and his "Happy Monday" balloon.
