We've had a few significant milestones here in the last few weeks. My babies are no longer babies but little kids, and I'd like you to help me celebrate these 3 facts:
1. The high chair has been moved to the basement! Cleaned out and available for guests, but not a permanent fixture of our kitchen any longer.
2. The baby gates are gone! Yes, I took the plunge today and removed the baby gates. We had 4 of them in our house, and that doesn't count the one on the 3rd floor that's still up, or the 2 we took down from the deck earlier this summer. Sigh, we have a lot of stairs in this old house.
3. Frankie slept in panties last night, and kept them dry! She's been in pull-ups for about a month now, and has been keeping them dry pretty consistently. We ran out of them last night, so took the plunge! I'm so proud of my big girl! That's officially one kid out of diapers. #2 still has a ways to go - he cries when ever I try and sit him on the potty. :(

these are HUGE!!! just yesterday my friend handed down some newborn diapers that her baby outgrew for our upcoming addition...it hit me...after 6 months of being diaper free we will be back in diapers!!
and to be gateless in the house will make such a difference for you as you carry things up and down the stairs! so glad for you moving from the baby phase into the toddler/little kid phase.
