We attended a pirate-themed family day party at Chris's work last weekend and came home with all kinds of free pirate-related swag. Chris still maintains that he would have rather won the Red Sox tickets at the raffle than the pirate-bank, but the pirate bank was filled with bubble gum "gold" coins.
There was an obscene amount of food at the party, including a "sausage appetizer" (a foot long sausage dog on a bun covered with peppers and onions which looked more like a meal to me), a lunch of steak tips, grilled chicken, hamburgers and all the fixins, a fried dough machine, and a frozen lemonade stand. The hilarious part to us about the food was that while the party was free for employees who RSVPed, they gave us an envelope of tickets for food. We only had 4 coupons for fried dough. I mean, after the 4th fried dough, I really could have gone for another one, but we were out of coupons.
They look friendly enough, but that little one would make you walk the plank without thinking twice.
Frankie loved the moon bounce, although she's still working on the jumping part.

Andy appears in this picture (behind Frankie to the right, the kid with the crab shirt). Andy was 2 1/2 and loved the moon bounce so much, he didn't leave for literally 2 hours. By the time we saw him, he was red in the face and sweaty, and his poor parents were begging him to at least take a break for some water. They tried cajoling him to leave with invitations to get a slush, or maybe some fried dough, but all Andy would say was "No. I bounce." and just kept on bouncing. Eventually his dad just had to go in and remove him.
This was the balloon-lady's hedgehog. She also had a bunny with her (I know, random, right?).
Frankie's pulpo
Frankie enjoyed the frozen lemonade
a lot.

Nice pulpo Frankie! I think that vocabulary word will come in handy in your Spanish classes and future world travel. Don't you?
